We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God and, in addition to revealing to us the way of salvation, it is a wonderful source of accurate historical information. This information, when compared with archaeological data from the Holy Land, can lead to a clear understanding of what occurred in the past (truth).
The Bible + Archaeology = Historical Truth.
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God..." (II Timothy 3:16).
"The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever" (Psalms 12:6 and 7).
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

Dr. Yigal Shiloh and Bud Chrysler

In the summer of 1984, Bud participated in the City of David Excavations directed by Dr. Yigal Shiloh, of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He was assigned to area D-2 with area supervisors Donald Ariel and Yair Shoham. The Mid-Slope Wall ran through the center of the area and much of the pottery Bud found there dated to the eighth century B.C. There were rock-cut tombs on top of the ridge overhead, with the Fountain Gate to the south and the Water Gate to the north, above the Gihon Spring.
